Obria’s Relationship Education Program visits local schools and youth organizations, training teens in:

Healthy Relationship Skills
Dealing with Root Issues
Emotional intelligence
Healthy boundaries
Future planning
Conflict resolution
Job readiness
Various other critical skills

It is our desire to see the youth of our community thrive and be supported in making healthy decisions, leading to a successful and productive future.

Of particular note, is the opportunity to be selected as a guest speaker at the National Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Conference in the Spring (all expenses paid).

Commitment

Our Youth Leadership Council helps our leadership team by:

Previewing Lessons
Giving Feedback on Lessons and Presentation Styles
Community Engagement Ideas
Sampling Incentives Given to Student in a Classroom Setting

The Council meets 4 times each year, once each quarter for 2 hours. Council Members will be paid $15 per hour for their time in addition to other incentives as they pertain to each meeting.

Attendance at each Youth Leadership Council meeting is of the utmost importance. We understand that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances that prevent a student’s participation. Please specify your commitment level to the YLC meetings on a scale of 1-10. (1 is low, 10 is high.)
